Day 1: Full description
Begin your adventure with a hotel pickup and a scenic ride in an open-air jeep. Feel the breeze as you pass through local villages and limestone karsts, stopping for photos at a lotus pond.
Next, reach the foot of Mua Mountain and hike up 486 stone steps to the iconic Dragon Peak. Enjoy 360-degree panoramic views of Tam Coc Valley before strolling through the beautiful Ngoa Long Garden.
Continue with a jeep transfer to Hoa Lu, driving through off-road paths to reach the ancient capital. Visit the Dinh and Le Dynasty temples, learn about Vietnam’s 10th-century history, and admire ancient wooden carvings and stonework.
Relax at a hidden rural restaurant and feast on Ninh Binh specialties, including goat meat and burnt rice. Vegetarian options are available upon request.
After lunch, drive to Thung Nham via hidden trails. Paddle yourself through the water caves and observe thousands of birds returning to their nests. Visit Buddha Cave (Hang Bụt) by boat or kayak.
Finally, enjoy the sunset from the open jeep as you drive back to your accommodation.
