Day 1: Full description
Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Tam Coc and drive toward the National Park by Army Jeep. Arrive at the Endangered Primate Rescue Center (EPRC) and visit this world-renowned center dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of Vietnam’s rarest primates. See langurs and gibbons that are found nowhere else on Earth.
Next, explore the Cave of Prehistoric Man (Dong Nguoi Xua), an archeological site containing human graves and tools dating back over 7,000 years. Get a fascinating look at how prehistoric humans lived in these limestone caves.
Enjoy the rugged forest roads as you head toward the Nho Quan district. Stop for a traditional meal in a rustic, open-air setting near the water.
After lunch, arrive at Suoi Gio (Wind Waterfall), a secluded forest stream. Unlike the busy tourist spots, Suoi Gio offers a peaceful atmosphere deep within the Nho Quan forest. Walk along the stream, capture photos of the cascading water, or dip your feet into the crystal-clear pools. The "Wind Waterfall" creates a natural, cooling breeze—perfect for relaxing after a morning of trekking.
Leave the forest behind and drive back to your hotel in Tam Coc or Ninh Binh.
