Day 1: Ninh Binh to Pu Luong
08:00 AM – Hotel Pickup in Ninh Binh Our professional driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel, homestay, or bungalow in Tam Coc, Trang An, or Ninh Binh City. We start our adventure to the mountains of Thanh Hoa province.
10:30 AM – Arrive at Thac May (Cloud Waterfall) We arrive at Thac May, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam.
The Legend: Local people call it "Nine Steps of Love" because the waterfall has nine natural stone levels.
Swimming: The water is crystal clear and cool. You can swim in the natural pools or stand under the falling water to relax your body.
Photography: Walk along the wooden bridge and climb the stone steps to take amazing photos of the white water flowing over the rocks.
12:30 PM – Local Lunch near the Waterfall Enjoy a traditional lunch with local specialties of the Muong ethnic people. You will eat in a simple stilt house near the forest, feeling the cool breeze and peaceful atmosphere.
01:30 PM – Scenic Drive to Pu Luong Nature Reserve We get back on the van and continue our journey. The road from Thac May to Pu Luong is very beautiful with green forests and small local villages.
We will pass through the peaceful countryside where you can see corn and cassava farms.
Stop for photos at a high point to see the valley from above.
04:00 PM – Arrival in Pu Luong We arrive at your retreat, homestay, or hotel in Pu Luong (Ban Don, Ban Hieu, or nearby areas).
Check-in and relax while looking at the famous rice terraces.
The trip ends, and you are ready for your trekking days in Pu Luong.
