Day 1: Ninh Binh to Mai Chau
08:00 AM – Hotel Pickup in Ninh Bình Our professional driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel, homestay, or bungalow in Tam Coc, Trang An, or Ninh Binh City. We start our journey toward the majestic mountains of the Northwest.
10:30 AM – Discover Thac May (Cloud Waterfall) We arrive at Thac May, one of the most breathtaking waterfalls in Northern Vietnam.
The Nine Steps of Love: Explore the unique natural structure with nine levels of rock.
Swimming: Enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear mountain water. The natural pools at the base of the waterfall are perfect for relaxing.
Nature Walk: Walk along the wooden paths and enjoy the lush green forest surrounding the falls.
12:30 PM – Local Lunch near the Waterfall Enjoy an authentic lunch with regional specialties of the Muong ethnic people. You will dine in a traditional stilt house, experiencing the true local flavors and hospitality.
01:30 PM – Scenic Drive to Mai Chau Valley We get back on the van and continue our drive to Mai Chau. The road is famous for its beautiful scenery, passing through local farms and green hills.
We will stop at a viewpoint to see the panoramic view of the mountains and the peaceful villages below.
04:00 PM – Arrival in Mai Chau Valley We arrive at your hotel or homestay in Lac Village or Pom Coong Village.
Explore the Village: Take a light walk through the rice fields and see the White Thai people weaving traditional fabrics.
Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this famous valley.
