Day 1: Elephant Waterfall & Mai Chau Valley Tour
08:00 AM – Hotel Pickup in Ninh Binh Our professional driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel, homestay, or bungalow in Tam Coc, Trang An, or Ninh Binh City. We start our scenic road trip toward the mountains of the Northwest.
10:00 AM – Discover Thac Voi (Elephant Waterfall) We arrive at Thac Voi, a beautiful and powerful waterfall hidden inside the forest of Thanh Hoa province.
The Scenery: Admire the white water falling over giant limestone rocks. It is a wild and majestic landscape.
Photo Opportunity: Walk across the suspension bridge to get the best view of the waterfall and the surrounding jungle.
Relax & Swim: You can dip your feet or swim in the cool, natural pools at the base of the waterfall. It is the perfect way to refresh your body during the trip.
12:00 PM – Local Lunch Enjoy a delicious lunch with authentic local food at a nearby restaurant. You will taste the fresh flavors of the countryside before we continue our journey.
01:30 PM – Scenic Drive to Mai Chau Valley We leave the waterfall and drive toward the high mountains of Hoa Binh province.
The road is very beautiful with green hills and small local villages.
We will stop at a viewpoint to enjoy the fresh mountain air and see the vast valleys from above.
04:00 PM – Arrival in Mai Chau Valley We arrive at your hotel or homestay in Lac Village or Pom Coong Village.
Discover the Valley: Take a short walk through the rice fields to see the peaceful life of the White Thai ethnic people.
See the traditional stilt houses and colorful handmade fabrics.
The trip ends, and you are ready for your relaxing stay in Mai Chau!
